Catherine’s journey with Traffick911 began several years ago when she met Executive Director, Lindsey Speed, at an International Justice Mission (IJM) event. Their shared passion for justice and restoration quickly forged a deep bond, leading Catherine to become more involved with the organization.

Drawing from her own lived experiences, Catherine brings unparalleled empathy and insight to her advocacy work. Her commitment extends beyond Traffick911; she also serves with adult survivors through Refuge for Women, providing support and guidance to those on their journey to healing.

Professionally, Catherine serves as the Director of Sales at AdTel International, where she has spent nearly a decade driving business development, forming strategic partnerships, and expanding the reach of the healthcare software division.

Catherine's blend of personal experience, professional acumen, and unwavering dedication makes her an invaluable advocate for survivors. We are honored to recognize her as a 2025 Woman of Hope, celebrating her relentless pursuit of justice and her compassionate heart for those affected by trafficking.

Catherine’s “Why”

“From the moment I heard about the mission of Traffick911 several years ago, I was deeply moved to know there is a team of dedicated, caring, and tenacious individuals with hearts to rescue, rehabilitate, and restore children caught in sex trafficking. It touched me because I was one of those children back in the 80s right here in Dallas, and there was no help —only stigma, judgment, and a lack of understanding of risk factors that make children susceptible to trafficking. Lindsey and everyone I have met on this team is listening to and obeying the call of God and being nudged out of their comfort zones daily, moved into the darkness and holding the light and power of the Holy Spirit to meet these children with love, grace, gentleness, kindness, and compassion. They are walking out the teachings of Christ. My hope is that everyone understands the importance of the work this organization is doing. They are not only helping children and their families now; they are giving them years of life… freedom from carrying the lies, trauma, shame, regret, guilt, and faulty generational beliefs about themselves, God, and the world around them that would infect them their entire lives. Every relationship and aspect of their lives would be affected if Traffick911 were not here to answer God’s call and intervene. Every person is precious and valuable and deserves to be loved, known, helped, accepted, and understood. The sex trafficking industry is enormous and very real. Each of us can contribute, whether it is attending awareness events and speaking about what we learn with our friends, families, neighbors, colleagues, and churches, volunteering, donating, or reporting suspect activity to authorities. The risk factors start in families in our very own communities, and this is where it can end when our eyes are open. Silence perpetuates this problem. It is our responsibility to stand up, speak up, and use our time and money for good, for the weakest among us. The power to make a difference is in each of us.”
