Your 2024 impact
2024 was a year of incredible impact! Here are just a few highlights that you—our amazing community of supporters—made happen by giving generously, sharing the mission of freedom, and supporting Traffick911 throughout the year.
By full-time, community-based Voice & Choice Advocates
Throughout six counties in North Texas
By building long-term trust-based relationships and creating individualized plans for freedom alongside community partners
We believe that relationship is the intervention. Trafficking survivors often fall through the cracks of established systems. Traffick911 Advocates take a holistic approach to building trust with trafficked youth, meeting them right where they are in their community and walking alongside them in life as they navigate the process of healing from trauma.
Advocates are on call 24/7 every day of the year to respond to a child's recovery within 60 minutes
Achieved in formal partnerships with local, state, and federal law enforcement
Advocates establish felt safety, meet basic needs and safety plan at every crisis response alongside county multi-disciplinary team partners
Through this unique field-based approach, Advocates meet youth within the early hours of their recovery — often in a police station, child advocacy center, or hospital —and begin building trust bonds with each child while simultaneously collaborating with system partners to safety plan and determine next steps, like housing.
Advocates rotate serving on call 24/7 to be available for survivors and their families
Current clients know they always have someone they can call
Advocates help navigate safety planning, suicide assessments, and meet basic needs for clients and their families
When a child is recovered from trafficking, that is just the beginning of a long road ahead. Often survivors and their families experience multiple crises and intense needs on the other side of trafficking, and our team is committed to being a supportive presence in their lives no matter what lies ahead.
1145 instances of transportation support
877 crisis interventions
617 instances of emergency financial assistance
Many more services like legal or criminal justice aid, emergency medical services, and housing or shelter assistance
Advocates work with survivors into adulthood for long-term healing and protection from re-victimization
Support is not one-size-fits-all—each individual and family we serve has unique needs and goals. Our advocates specialize in tailoring resources and services to align with these distinct needs. In 2024, we expanded our commitment to holistic care by adding two full-time Family Support Advocates, dedicated to providing advocacy and guidance specifically for caregivers and the families of the children we support.
Out of 969 goals set
Advocates work with survivors to identify goals on a monthly basis for long-term empowerment.
Goal-setting is a hope-filled life skill that allows Advocates to amplify each survivor’s voice and choice, ensuring outcomes are deeply rooted in their individual aspirations. Throughout their journey with Traffick911, youth are empowered and celebrated for achieving goal milestones such as graduation, securing and maintaining employment, and finding stable housing.
