What about the victim's family?

What do holiday traditions look like for you and your family?

Maybe your family gets together for a joyous celebration to share fun, memories, and good food. For many of us, the holidays provide a break from the business of regular life as we press into rest and community.

But what about when the holidays aren’t jolly?

This holiday season at Traffick911, our team will serve families who will wake up on Christmas morning not knowing where their son or daughter might be because they’ve been gone for months.

We will walk alongside families struggling to put a simple meal on the table, much less an entire Christmas Day feast.

We will be a shoulder for caregivers who are at their wit's end as they struggle to navigate the complexities of the child they knew before trafficking and the one who returned to them after exploitation.

Earlier this year, we began offering free counseling services to caregivers. Support groups and individual therapy help those who care for the youth we serve come to terms with their loss, navigate the realities of trafficking, and cope with their trauma. While we may not be able to take away the trauma of what these families have experienced, we can help give them the tools necessary to pick up the pieces and journey toward freedom and healing. This year, we served 322 children, each with their own families and caregivers. Your end-of-year gift can ensure that each family we serve gets the support they deserve. We couldn’t have done it without you - I’m so glad you are a part of that freedom journey too, friends.
