Joining the cheering section!

I am not great at change. I love a fast-paced life (ask my kids and husband!), but I struggle with adapting to new routines—especially when a big decision is ahead of the change, which is why it took a lot of hard thought and prayer to leave my role at Traffick911 and pursue the next stage of my career as Chief Advancement Officer at Zero Abuse Project.

We often say that Traffick911 acts as an incubator for leaders and growth. I can see this looking over the last four years which have been nothing short of miraculous. Seeing our annual prayer breakfast, Morning of Hope, grow to be sold out event; watching our team grow from 14 to 30+ people; increasing our impact year over year. It’s not every day you get to learn and grow in an environment like this!

I am honored to have served this team, to walk alongside them in celebration and grief, to laugh more than I ever have, and to find peace and healing in my own brokenness. I am a different human because of my time here, and I hope you know how deeply I desire that same outcome for the kids who will be impacted by Traffick911 in all the years to come. It's been my utmost privilege to steward the stories of the kids we serve and watch our community lean in to learn about unfathomable pain and brokenness. It has marked my life to watch resiliency unfold and hope be restored in the depths of darkness. I have learned so much about the power of empathy and human connection—it's been my favorite part of the job.

If you've had the opportunity to visit or spend any time with our staff, you know this place is special—a little haven in a dark world—a soft place to land. As this chapter closes for me, I am so excited to join you in the cheering section for Traffick911. And I ask that you join me in continuing to support the life-saving work of Traffick911 by giving, volunteering, and learning.

Take it from an insider—amazing things are ahead!

With overflowing gratitude,
